Updated Guidelines on Determining Qualified Faculty Available

HLC's guidelines on Faculty Qualifications were updated October 1, 2015, due to the adoption of a policy revision to Assumed Practice B.2. by HLC’s Board of Trustees on June 26, 2015. This revision clarified HLC’s longstanding expectations regarding the qualifications of faculty and the importance of faculty members having appropriate expertise in the subjects they teach.

The HLC Board of Trustees approved on first reading the following proposed revised policies on June 25–26, 2015.
